America's trade deficit for 2010 was $634.9 billion. That's 26.1% higher than its $503.6 billion negative balance during 2009.

Year-to-date, through August 2011, the American Trade Deficit is at $488.6 billion, which is tracking to go over a $728 billion dollar deficit.
